Due to wood being a natural material, cracks and damage will happen inevitably at some point during the bat’s lifespan.
If the said damage happens very early in its life (i.e a couple of uses) and you wish to return it to us we will honour a replacement providing we are satisfied the preparation process of the new bat has been carried out properly and that the bat is no longer fit for use.
We may recommend a repair is carried out on the damage rather than a replacement.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@ezzacricket.com

There are no set rules when it comes to bat grains and their effect on performance. Bats with wider do seem to last longer. A bat with 6-8 straight grains is a good quality
The answer is that it depends on the taste of the customer and the skill of the bat maker. A bat should always be chosen on “feel” and not merely what it looks like. There are bound to be some small knots or blemishes on the bat, after all it is a natural product and cannot be expected to be perfect, with no faults at all.
The only main differences in the grade are the visual appearance of the wood including amounts of butterfly stain plus the number of blemishes or knots on the blade and the straightness of the grain. Generally the more colour in the blade the lower the grade, there is however negligible difference in the playing ability, it is purely a perception that if it looks good it will play well, this is not the case.
Correctly knocking in and oiling your bat will allow it to perform better and give it the best odds of a long life.
Yes, I have been playing cricket for over 30 years in local leagues, unfortunately never more than an average village cricketer. I'm a Level three ECB Coach and currently manage my daughters under 13 team.
We started as an official business in early 2022. But we have been doing bat repairs for players in the Berkshire area for over 15 years
